David Victor

Manager

Mr. Victor has more than 17 years of experience and works on a wide variety of litigation and non-litigation projects with a focus on economic research and analysis for business valuations, damages analysis, and forensic accounting.  He has been involved in cases in both federal and local courts, and they have encompassed a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, automotive and professional services.  Mr. Victor applies his analytical skills to various industries, working with databases to develop complex schedules and modeling.

Part of Mr. Victor’s core set of skills is his ability to manage and analyze vast amounts of data to identify the pieces that are most relevant to his clients.  To help ensure he has an accurate picture of the data he receives, Mr. Victor often participates in site visits and performs direct inquiries.

Prior to joining Applied Business Strategy, Mr. Victor was a Manager with Cohen & Company, Ltd., a Cleveland based Certified Public Accounting firm, where he started his career in the Accounting & Auditing department, preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for privately-held companies.  Mr. Victor has also held various industry accounting positions including Corporate Assistant Controller, which duties included maintaining accounting systems and related internal controls, preparation of monthly financial statements, preparation of financial closing entries and procedures, supervision of payroll functions, and annual corporate compliance filings.

Mr. Victor holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Cleveland State University, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors.
